"WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM"

He pressed them, "And how about you? Who do you say I am?" (Mat 16:15 MSG)

So this morning I am going to press you as the Message version of the Bible says, I am going to press you because its time in conjunction with your Words to stop your denial, to stop your intransigence, to take your voice out of your voice box, recognize who He really is and start telling everyone, what He has done for you, and what HE can do for them. The Word of God is clear it say you became a child of God when you accepted and believed in Him, but you can't hide under the bushes forever, all of creation is waiting for you to reveal yourself.

"For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed." (Rom 8:19 WEB)

So who are you this morning, how do you recognize Him, just a religious figure, someone who touched history, or were you touched for a short moment, or can you say with all your heart, soul and mind like Simon Peter. This morning can you identify with Peter this morning and stand up before your, family, colleagues, your intimate friends and identify the Lord of your life as Jesus Christ the son of the living God.

Simon Peter said, "You're the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God." (Mat 16:16 MSG)

As you take time out to ponder what I am writing here today, you need to note that your recognition of Him requires an action, a change, a beginning of an outward process that leads you to reveal your love of Jesus to those around you. In the Book of Romans Paul tells us that we need to confess with our mouth who Jesus is, and he does not mean to ourselves you need to get out there open your mouth and start jabbering away to everyone whom the creator of the universe puts before you about this Christ, who has taken over your life, do you think for one moment that the women with the issue of blood could keep her lips from telling the world about Jesus, I think not.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

(Rom 10:9 KJVA)

During my week I end up in different offices talking to people, running errands and such. Recently I sat down at someone's desk and saw that favorite prayer of ours, the Prayer of Jabez firmly mounted on the telephone. Of course I did not miss out on the opportunity to check this lady out by asking a few questions. Only to be abruptly handed out a verbal package that totally denied the Christ and his Authority over her live. Well

I wondered if she knew what she had done, her testimony of denial, I wondered further if she still expected the Lord to stand with her. You need to realize that it is only by the blood of the Lamb of God slain for our sins and the word of your testimony that we can move into the glory of God.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Rev 12:11 KJVA)

Lord, this morning I say that you are The Christ, the Son of the Living God, The creator of all heaven and earth. I bless you and honor you for all that you have done in my live and all that you continue to do. In Jesus Name Amen.
